Psion Series 5 archive

The Internet is a fantastic resource and it's amazing what you can find on it, so I thought I'd add to the pool of knowledge with this Psion section. Maybe someone, somewhere, will find it useful.

In the mid 1990s I had a Psion Series 5 that I used quite a lot and because I have an interest in programming, I experimented with the built in programming language called OPL. I wrote a couple of programs for it called Flip and Race Form Cracker. Flip is a simple, but interesting puzzle game and Race Form Cracker is a Psion version of Form Cracker 2 that you can find elsewhere on this site. The idea was that you could visit the race course with the Psion in your pocket and whip it out to analyse the races and find the horse with the best chance of winning.

While browsing backups that I made many years ago, I came across this Psion Series 5 section of an old website that dates back to the late 1990s. I have included it here in case anyone out there is looking for information on the old Psion Series 5.

I don't use the Psion any more and haven't even switched it on for five years. I have forgotten everything I used to know about it so don't ask me anything about it!
